Our Story

Products That Earn Respect

Have you ever owned a favourite old pair of boots or couldn't bear to part with that old 4WD? Every time you use them, they remind you of all the journeys you've travelled together. That's what we build.

The Mission

Thinking Outside the Box

In this modern era we shouldn't tolerate heavy, clumsy, sharp, rusting trailers and flapping tarpaulins. It's about time someone thought outside the box to develop tough, long-lasting, user-friendly trailers and campers for the 21st century.

That's exactly what Phil Savory set out to do when he founded Stockman Products in May 2006. Drawing on 30 years of industrial design experience, Phil created the world's first plastic tub pod trailer — winning the Australian Plastic Award for best conversion product that same year.

Nearly two decades later, the mission hasn't changed. Every Stockman is designed to be lighter, tougher, and easier to use than anything else on the market. We just keep getting better at it.

Phil Savory — Founder

Industrial designer with over 30 years of experience in product design and manufacturing. Phil's previous work includes the Fisher & Paykel Smart-drive washing machine and the Daniels Sharpsmart reusable medical container system — products used by millions worldwide.

Phil brings this same engineering rigour and design thinking to every Stockman product. The result: trailers and campers that don't just work — they work beautifully.
